Support For New Moms | Mother Rising

Welcome!

I’m so grateful you’re here and getting started with Mother Rising.

My name is Lindsey.

My name is Lindsey and I am a Birthing From Within childbirth educator and certified doula. I live in North Florida with my three kids.

I gave birth at home, in a birth center and in a hospital!

About Mother Rising

A long time ago I started this website as a way to advertise my childbirth classes locally, but then I realized I enjoyed writing. So here we are!

On this blog you will find posts about infertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, mothering, self-care, natural remedies and so much more.

I hope this website will help you to have a more informative, empowering and compassionate transformation to motherhood.

In my articles you will find that I am a little bit sarcastic, slightly funny and a whole lot compassionate. I do my best to be informative and passionate, but still be sensitive to everybody’s choices and journey. And I try to have a good time while doing it!

I’m on a mission to help other women have a more informative, empowering and compassionate journey to motherhood.

About Lindsey

I’m just like you.

I am a woman navigating the terrain of rising into motherhood. I don’t have it all figured out and honestly, I never will.

Sometimes it’s scary and an emotional roller-coaster. Sometimes it’s euphoric.

And many times it’s a lot of mundane work.

I’ve been pregnant six times and birthed three babies. After personally struggling with infertility, finding my voice during pregnancy, giving birth and adjusting through an intense postpartum…

I’m on a mission to help other mamas have a more informative, empowering and compassionate transformation.

Here are some resources you will find so helpful on your journey to motherhood!

As a part of the Mother Rising community I hope you feel:

  • supported on your journey into motherhood
  • inspired with new ideas and solutions
  • peace in your body & mind
  • confidence in your upcoming transitions

Hi, I’m a new mom as well. I have a 4 mo old baby girl. My tip would be to let go of all your expectations and take it one day at a time. Celebrating the positives and when it gets stressful, stop, close your eyes and just take a breath while relaxing your shoulders and body, then just move along. I hope you have many amazing moments with your little one! They go by so fast.
